CALCULATE YOUR SQUARE FOOTAGE
Square footage is determined by multiplying the Width by the Height of the area to be covered in turf (see diagram). Keep in mind that most of our golf turf rolls are 12 feet wide instead of 15 feet wide. To calculate the total cost for the synthetic grass multiply the total square footage of turf needed by the price per square foot.
Example: 600 square feet at $3.59 per sq. ft. will cost $2,100.00
20 feet x 30 feet = 600 square feet
600 square feet x $3.50= $2,100.00
NOTE: Our Synthetic Grass, is delivered in rolls, just like carpet. Like carpet, sometimes you will need to order more turf than you actually need in order to cover the desired space.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
Artificial Grass Installation Overview
Step 1
Measure your yard with a 100 foot tape measure. Additionally, you can use an aerial map application like google maps to determine how much turf you will need. If you need assistance using google maps feel free to call us at 707-972-1902
Step 2
Clear all vegetation and debris. Add a base of crushed rock and level it with a landscaping rake. Then spray with water and compact the area with a water-filled lawn roller.
Step 3
Unroll and lay out the artificial grass, cut off the ends, and line up edges. Then, fold back the pieces of turf, roll out the seam tape in the middle of the two pieces, and apply adhesive. Next, roll back one piece of turf onto seam tape and then line up other side and do the same.
Step 4
Use a stiff-bristled broom to make the grass fibers stand up, the grass fibers will be lying down due to being transported in a roll.
Step 5
Use a broadcaster/spreader to add sand between the grass fibers. A depth of approximately 1/2″ to 3/4″ is recommended. Then brush again to get the sand down to the artificial grass backing and to make the grass fibers stand on end.
Step 6
Stake down the turf along the perimeter every 3 feet or so. If desired, add edging, rock or other border.

OUR SYNTHETIC GRASS SYSTEM
Synthetic Grass Systems
It’s Not Just the Turf, It’s the System
Below are the three main synthetic grass systems developed by our manufacturer over the last 26 years.
Putting Greens
BASE: Create outline of putting green area using a rope or a hose. Remove existing sod and vegetation (be sure to keep putting green area away from drainage flows and tree roots). Create undulated base using finely crushed rock and thoroughly compact.
SURFACE: Choose from a variety of our putting surfaces. Unroll turf bottom-side up and let it settle in the sun for 3 to 5 days. Turn putting surface over and lay in place, trim to size using a utility knife. Selection of putting surface is based on whether you will be chipping to the green and how far out you will chipping. Putting fringe is optional based on your custom design. We also have putting surfaces that can be glued directly over concrete.
TOP DRESSING: Our proprietary top dressing is chosen based on how you will be using your putting green. We have top dressing for putting only and a variety of top dressing mixes for different chipping distances. Our top dressings are green in color, adding to the realism of your putting green.
Lawns
BASE: Remove existing sod and vegetation. Add weed barrier fabric. Install a crushed rock base (type of crushed rock will vary by region and intended use.)
GRASS: Choose from a variety of artificial grasses. Unroll turf bottom-side up and let it settle in the sun for 1 to 2 days. Turn turf over and lay in place, trim to size using a utility knife. Then add a sand infill that will keep the blades of grass upright and act as a ballast to keep the turf in place..
Dog Runs
BASE: Remove existing sod and vegetation. Add weed barrier fabric. Install a crushed rock base (type of crushed rock will vary by region and number of dogs using the dog run area). Additionally, if your dog run area will be used by many dogs you can also use our Absorbify™ to reduce odors.
